Be prepared to get up early at 3:30 or 4:00 every morning. Our guide Mr Ahmed shawky Ali is extremely knowledgeable as a former academic in the field, explained things loudly and clearly. However, at times we felt that his explanations were short when compared with some other guides, he could have explained more for us to gain further from his vast knowledge of ancient Egypt.”
